Hello, I have a question regarding my server. It has recently started acting up when people join and it starts with 3ram (which is the usual amount being used) straight up to above 8ram and what it is doing is caching players when they join so I would assume it would be that due to the lag spike happening when that occurs. Do you know of a way to fix this?

Long story short, before someone joins the server is fine with the normal usage of ram which is around 3-4gb even with people previously to this problem but now when someone joins the server it creates a cache and spikes the ram used on the dedicated server to about 11gb but keeps the server usage down for some reason.

look at my new comment. It explains it better I think.

Can someone assist me on this?

So, my server is currently undergoing major lag spikes as well as ram usage spikes whenever someone logs on, it creates a cache file which creates the lag and such as explained above but does not clear it so it just consistently builds up. My server went from using 3-4gb ram like it normally does to all of a sudden 11gb ram on the dedicated server itself. So I am assuming this is a plugin file leakage. Is there a fast way to locate this issue rather then going through all the plugins one by one considering it takes a lot of time etc, What I'm trying to say is, is there a faster way to locate this issue? I mean no error shows in the log other then the cache issue.

Have you tried it with no plugins? Or on freshly-generated worlds?

EDIT: Also, merged posts about the same issue, and deleted another duplicate. No need to scatter the conversation around the forum when it's easier to keep it all in one place. :p

    Because JustAboutAnything > Windoze.

But srsly, have you tried either of the above?
