I have looked around for some kind of plugin like this but could not find one. The command would be /referredby (name) or /rb (name) or if you have a better idea for a command you can put it in since it is your plugin not mine. But there are some prerequisites and rules before being able to use the command. The player using the command has to have some game time played before being able to use the command. (configurable) This is so that they don't ask a friend to join then get referred then leave. Cannot refer same IP. (basically stopping a lot of abuse with alternate accounts.) Cannot use the command on their self. Then once they do get a "referral point" they get items/money (configurable) Now keep in mind I am not a coder so this means that I do not know what is possible and what is not so please do not criticize my lack of knowledge about coding plugins. With that being said I do encourage ways to get around the impossible stuff. Thank you for taking time out of your day to read my post. Have a good one.
I will have a look at this because I was thinking of making this a while back and never got round to it. Also I can try to make it so you cannot be referred by someone who joined after you did.

Basically the whole point is to get players in your server and able to play for a bit before being referred. So once the person joins and plays for a bit he can do /command name after an hour to only one person. Then in theory that person would stay in the server and play and perhaps get someone of his own to get him referred. TL;DR "Can a person set more than one referrer ?" yea I made a plugin that does exactly this. "refergift". I stopped developing it because no one was using it plus refergift got quite buggy after awhile. Im thinking about rebuilding refergift to make it run better. http://forums.bukkit.org/threads/admn-misc-refergift-v1-0-7-refer-a-friend-receive-a-gift-1-3-1-r1-0.65430/ The plugin has been rebuilt and works on the latest craftbukkit. its' only been made once. Im surprised that ReferGift didn't get popular for being the only referral type plugin. I was figuring that at least 1k servers would use it or maybe even 2k. If you want to use economy, what plugin do you use ? I have NEVER touched economy in coding, so if anything crops out, I'm sorry !
I have made a beta version. Download here. I have yet to implement economy and the IP check have not been tested. I need to rush something else before I am free to continue coding. Also, I have yet to implement tier rewards, but I made it automatically save the total amount of refers. You can see the amount when you close down the server and you open up "plugins" , "Referred By", "Save files". I hope when I update the plugin, I won't break the save file. Commands: /ReferredBy or RB <player> - Sets your referrer. EDIT: I have updated it again. I added Essential Economy dependance. Please refresh your config file by letting a new one generate. Will add tier rewards and proper timer soon.

I was only suggesting as my friend is new to coding and wants his plugins to be known, please calm down.
Has been down due to some technical errors. But is up now. I also don't use RB for that server. I am creating another one (running two) which should have more players once we get it going.
