    saw a new npc mod, posted about traders as this seems dead, then saw the 1.07 coming soon, is there an actual eta? we have been holding off on shop mods waiting for the trader function so kinda keen to know roughly when? today, next couple of days? this week?

    Release ETA is this week. Traders will unfortunately not be included, but there will be a number of other features.

  8. Currently(If I am correct, I believe I am) MultiWorld support isn't implemented. But it will probably be added.

    The best NPC plugin out there.
    How will guards work? I'm very curious.
    I'd love a way for players to 'hire' guards. And place them where they're needed.
    Maybe a special trader-npc for that? But that's later on I guess :)

    Lol, i check on this page every hour or two for updates, one of the best plugins out there and with guards and questing it will be the best!

    I might be blind, but how do I go about setting any of my NPC's to auto-talk when someone is within a certain radius of them?

    There's a setting called talk-when-close. Enable that :).

    Ah. I see why I was unable to figure anything out. The settings file was labeled by my computer as a Visual Studio Settings file. Opened it with notepad and switched that to true.
    I take it at this time its either all or not for talk-when-close?

    After a day of this running on my server my npc's all turn sideways and stop moving. If you get close enough there heads will still follow you. They'll go sideways in walls if there near them. If i put one in the open he does not turn sideways with the rest of them.

    Alrighty, this is the second plugin (Lampstone being the first) that has done this on me so I figured I would ask.

    I use MultiVerse to host two regular worlds and a nether world on my server. Whenever a plugin such as Lampstone or in this case Citizens tries to 'load' anything in my non-main regular world it throws an error like the following;

    Would it be possible that NPC's could get their skins from /Citizens/skins or something?

    Never been a fan of IRC related things however I've never really given them a chance so I'll attempt to pop on. :)

    To the poster above, as far as I know and have read that would not be possible, if it was then I would imagine its not a simple task as otherwise it likely would've already been implemented.

    This has been discussed in length earlier in the thread. The short answer is there is a way to do that, but it requires client side modifications for anyone on your server to see the skins.

    Hay u plugin maker nice work with this LOVE IT! but make it use iConomy like u said u would and when u do that make shure the NPC's can reguster a player with in a "player" setable range and auto popup a shop menu on there screen. and make it so the npcs dont despawn when there maker log out.

    But outher then that LOVE THE PLUGIN!!
    my players get creeped out by the "Police" watching them move XD

    He's doing the best he can, he's working on one step at a time.
    The NPC's register when someone is near by, usually you have to restart the server after adding a few NPC's, at least that is what I had to do.
    Like I mentioned, he is working on one thing at a time. All that you have suggested is either already in the plugin, or a work in progress.
    I have never had an NPC vanish after the maker leaves. Check your settings. Mine is almost default, I just have the range of chat increased a bit and on auto talk instead of hitting them.

    This community really needs to learn some patience. Fullwall's last post was this morning. Does that sound like stopped development to you?

    The modders that are here making Bukkit plugins are honestly the fastest game modders I've seen and the most patient. Every plugin thread seems to be users wanting MORE MORE MORE NOW NOW NOW.

    Give the man time to upkeep his many plugins and develop new features, and you know, do something other than code once in a while perhaps.

    I believe I'm having the same issue, did you ever connect to IRC to figure out a possible resolution? I saw above that you were going to try but I haven't see anything else posted. I'm running 556 with Multiverse with 4 normal worlds and a Nether. Despite this error Citizens does seem to work fine but I've noticed with any severe errors weird things can happen on your server so I'm unfortunately, currently not running Citizens :(
