    Hi,

I need to test my plugin with virtual players as it will be quite hard to gather enough people to test this thing out. I've found Citizens but I can't find how to make them run commands (if it's possible) and I've also found VirtualPlayers but they're not physical.

I need to be able to see them to work out positioning and other stuff.

Anyone have any suggestions as to what is the best plugin/way to do this with.

Dude, I've clearly done that otherwise I wouldn't have found virtualplayers.

Sometimes a search bar cannot match people's knowledge.

You're having a laugh right? I've mentioned this in both my posts. And to quote the plugin description:

    And to quote myself

And to quote the title of this thread you're replying to:

well then get the source (its on the page) and add a EntityPlayer to get the physical representation of the virtual player...

I have no idea where to edit this plugin to show the player.

What I do when I need more then one player is to open the server to offline mode and use a cracked client and open up my real(paid) client and the cracked client in separate windows. If I need more then 2 players I just keep open cracked widows. Remember to use different names on the cracked clients so that they don't just get kicked. Also this might be the only good reason to have a cracked launcher:p

you can just open the legit client, enter a fake name, and just click player offline :p

Don't think that's possible. At least, when I do it, everyone logs in as "Player"

It is possible. I always do it to test things that require multiple players.

Well, it isn't working for me. Server is offline, client is offline, yet they all log in as Player. However, with the "cracked" client I've found everything works perfectly.

When you got to the login screen did you type a name in the username field? If you did then your username should show up as whatever you typed in the username field.

Start launcher, enter username, login, fails, play offline, connect to server (in offline mode) and it calls me Player

I haven't installed any mods since 1.4.6. Just fresh, non-modded Minecraft. I have the default Minecraft.exe launcher, too.

  22. I mean non-vanila launchers, I use the minecraft.exe I downloaded from minecraft.net

I edited my post. You must not have seen it. I have the regular Minecraft.exe straight from Minecraft.net, also.

EDIT: Just redownloaded a launcher from Minecraft.net and it still works.

Redownloaded Windows Launcher, now works fine.
    Redownloaded Mac Launcher, same problem.
