I sure hope a Bukkit staff member sees this.

Why can you guys not release working builds? It's always beta builds for the last version of Minecraft, and when you are actually on time with a beta build, it doesn't work. I think the last time I played minecraft was at the end of November because you guys are so slow and the builds are 2buggy4me.

Apologies. It just rustles me that these are unstable even though I have a god tier PC.

U F***in wot m8? For about a solid month the only official build they had was from the end of October. Actually it was like that until like a week into December.

I mean Bukkit sure kicks Vanilla's ass, I mean when I first started my Bukkit server and even still, I love the openness of it, where you cant create plugins, I just wish that they would release more stable builds more frequently.

Im not saying they dont put work into it. Im saying it has instable, and infrequent updates, and I did not state that I think they are trying to make me miserable, and I understand the product is free. Being free doesn't give them an excuse for this. As I said, I love Bukkit as much as the next guy, I'm just upset that a lot of their builds are unstable, as I have experienced many problems with many BETA builds because no OFFICIAL builds were available for the NEW Minecraft version that was out.

Recommended Builds are the only builds in which Bukkit officially says users should upgrade to.

Beta & Dev builds are often wrought with problems until they settle down in preparation for a RB. Use them at your own peril, use a Vanilla Minecraft server, or use 1.4.5 until a recommended build comes out. If you do choose to use one a beta/dev build, you had better expect this sort of scenario will happen to you often.

The other problem is that it's not usually Bukkit, but your plugins that are not updated to the version of Bukkit you are using that cause problems.

Since you seem to have the programming & project management experience of my pet bearded dragon (his grammar is appalling as well) I'm going to simply say this is because coding takes time.

do you understand the process they need to go through to bring the product to you? think of your permissions config times a million. and then making sure it is stable. and do not forget that minecraft has had SEVERAL updates over the last few months compounding the programming they need to do. by the time they just about get something close they get the joy of another minecraft update

I rarely have issues with the bukkit beta and dev builds themselves it is almost exclusively the plugins are not up to date

I obviously don't have much of an argument so I'll just update all of my plugins and hope that works. I also find it funny how when I start this I get tons of replies but when I actually need help It gets 1 unhelpful reply.

I chose plugins that have a good set of developers and use the latest dev builds. yes it does take time to keep up lately as the minecraft updates have been many in a short period of time. But I really have few issues.

Looking through your previous posts it looks like almost all of them were either answered or too vague/asking too much.

If you ask a reasonable question here you will almost always get some help.
