Can Someone Make Me A Plugin Plz (EASY)

Hello reader, if you can I would love for you to make me a plugin for me (I'll give you credit)

Where when you throw a SlimeBall, the mob/player that you are throwing it at will be slowed down about half of their speed of when the move around.

Sorry, I'm new at this plugin making stuff. I tried but it is too hard. Thanks for reading!!

Err you mean drop the slime? You can't "throw" it like an egg or snowball haha

 

Actually, this is not easy without Spout.

 

What, if you don't throw the slime ball, but click a player with it?

Never mind, I forgot that there is a potion of slowness effect.

 

You can't throw Slimeballs–aside from this, this should be easy to make.

 

It is possible to throw slime balls.
If right clicked, check if slime ball in hand.
Spawn slimeball, get direction of player, increase the slime balls velocity and so on

 

I will give it a shot. Probs take me a few mins

Yup.. Few lines of code can do this. Quite easy.

 

But it would look like it's a dropped object, not a thrown one, right?

 

Basically the same. Wouldn't notice a huge difference, and it's the only way to achieve it..

 

I got something! It only works on players though.

Edit: When you right click players while holding a slime you lose one slime and the player is slowed for a configurable time by a configurable percentage.

I don't think you can get it working with mobs just using the bukkit api though?

First time I have done this, not sure what to do now. I presume I can't just upload the jar here?

 

Meh, will try, and see what happens.

Zip folder has Source + Jar in it.

Thx for the feedback guys!! So Shadow, you cant throw them and they don't work on mobs, but they will work on players and you have to click on them? (for understanding sake).

Umm... Seems big but I wanted people to do this plugin for me because I wanted to make a MP map like Minez but different. I want to make one with spiders called SpiderBite and add cool stuff. I won't make it as big as Minez (of course) but I just want to try it out.

That is very possible, if its only clicking on them within target range.

 

My plugin does that, but I have no idea how to actually slow the mobs. Perhaps this could be done with spout craft?

 

Apply PotionEffectType.SLOWNESS?

 

Ok so that we are clear the SlimeBalls can't be thrown?


Ohh and I am confused on what spout craft is?

Btw, this is Spout.

Edit: The config setting which changes the percentage speed does not do anything anymore.

 

You have to zip it first

Then you copy the download link and paste it in your post

I would love throwable ones but this is good so far.

What I want: I want to make spiders to be able to RUN faster, think SMARTER, Harder to kill, ATTACK with more damage, spawn rapidly (maybe near some spider webs). If possible make them shoot web/slimeball to make the player slower. Ohh!! and make this configurable. (if you can). Thx
