Hi there, I'm looking for something quite particular. I run a popular build server and I've had some requests for a PVP/Spleef arena, at the moment PVP is disabled on server.properties as there's no need for it on a creative server. I'd like to select a certain area on the map, or a region using //wand (just as an example) and set it so that PVP is enabled in that particular area. Also it'd be great that if a player dies in that certain area, we can set a different location for them to spawn to when then respawn (like a holding room for an arena) If this or something similar currently exists then please enlighten me, if not it'd be a good project to work on (I don't know how to create plugins otherwise I'd do it myself ) Thank you in advance!
WorldGuard it is then. It has region support, use //wand to select corners and /region define arena then /region flag arena pvp allow And if you want to allow people to build in the region you can do /region addmember arena username or g:Groupname
Sorry for post bump but I was wondering if WorldGuard is able to set different spawns for each player because I, too, want to have an arena and I as admin would like to type something like /setspawn playername so they can continue to battle it out until a certain time. Cheers
