1: then you set it wrong. i tested it my self, worked fine.
3: yet every server owner i talked to liked groupmanager. did you EVER used it? you seem to talk like you never used it.
4: how is this related to PEX? GM has custom nodes, organizes permissions, splits groups/users, among other things.

i dislike the thread, but i read it, because you pasted false info ontop of the discussion board, where people can read and think its true.

 

1: i added prefixes in the users.yml, not groups, and it bugs out with essentialchat
2: I stated i did use it.
3: I was stating PEX doesnt.

This wasn't made to be an argument, im only stating my expirences with the plugins.

 

1. tested adding prefixes in users.yml, worked fine.
2. then you should read the wiki, instead of going upon opinions
3. once you put misleading info on a public topic, it IS arugment.

Plugins that add new mechanics to the game, that I personally like:

NeoScript: Mostly "integrated circuit" sign-on-block type mechanics, somewhat inspired by Craftbook's ICs. The current version allows the use of a Spout GUI to configure the signs instead of having to type it manually.

CraftBook: The granddaddy of mechanics plugins, it has integrated circuits, blocks that modify behaviour of minecart rails, lifts (teleport elevators --> televators?), gates, bridges, etc.

MachinaCraft: Build preset structures, then turn them on with a lever and they move and do things. Includes drills, pumps, a planting and harvesting machine, and so on.

 

I made a chat formatting plugin which is very simple, extremely extendable, and open source. I'm hoping it will atleast gain some developers behind it since I implement a add-on loader very similar to how Votifier does listeners. Anyone can make a add-on that overrides the defaults Chathandling, commands, and use the extensive api to a lot.

What exactly is the difference between the "anti-grief" category and the "protection" category. Aren't they both to serve the same purpose....

 

PVP servers need antigrief plugins to stop trashing and people lagging the server by dropping there hold inv at once and such. There is a little difference...

it still has more personal opinion then actual reviews, it seems.

 

Not to mention OP has not been updated for almost 5 months.

 

I haven't updated it for a while but if people keep bumping it I will.
