I have a server that I'm creating for the first time and the Ip isn't working for other people when they try logging in. I have port forward it already and did everything that I was suppose to do to start a server. I don't use hamachi by the way because I've heard of a lot of negative comments about using a hamachi server. Anyways, my port router is arris TG852G. External: 65.30.136.207 and Private IP: 192.168.0.150. Also, I'm trying to do a no-ip which is : soysuvabukkit.no-ip.org, but I can't seem to get it to work. I did try testing my server on another computer in my house and it works using my private ip, but when other people try going on it, it won't let them into my server(even with external ip). Please help. Thanks.

By the way, I'm using a Windows7 computer.

A lot of people also forget to open the ports on their firewall (Being Windows Firewall or third party(AVG, BitDefender))

Double check that the port is open on them.

yeah and make sure you sre running your server on your IPv4 adress and not your ip... to find your IPv4:
    1. Go to the start menu
    2. Type "cmd" and hit enter
    3. When it opens type "ipconfig"
    4. It will give you results and find the one that says IPv4
    5. Go to your server.properties file and change server ip to your IPv4

put port after ip in minecraft example: 65.30.136.207:25565
or check if its port open, type canyoueseeme on google and check there if u see your port

It doesn't work. The add button is for adding another port. I'm using Windows7 computer.
For my server ip, I run it on localhost:25565 because it only works when I write localhost.

    Here is my server properties:

@CRAZYxMUNK3Y it still refused when I open the port on firewall.

@Oxn I haven't tried adding 65.30.136.207:25565, but I'll try it to see if it works.
Ok I did that, but it still didn't work. Need urgent help please.

    Code:
    online-mode=false

Why is it in offline mode?

your server ip spot is blank... what ip are you putting in when you port forward?

it's blank b/c local host won't work when I put my server ip in the properties. I've watched tutorials on how to do it, but I can't remember which. But i do know that the tutorial was about a no-ip address on minecraft.

K did it, but still not working.

k, what I think i'm going to do is re-start from the beginning on creating a server? Anyone have a tutorial that uses my router model? also a server tutorial that can use http://www.no-ip.com/
