    When I downloaded SpellMaker it was downloaded as Spellmaker.jar... what do i do with it?

    Hey, I followed the tutorial and made a spell called "FireSlash" on the class "Swordsman" as a test.
    The problem is, how do you use a spell?

    you can bind it to an item with /class bind spellname or you can cast it with /class spellname

    Thanks, it works now after solving some more of my own mistakes. Can you add a feature so we can add descriptions to classes and spells?

    For example if we type /class and our class is Warrior, with the description "Warriors mostly have offensive spells.' it will show:

    Your class is: Warrior
    Warriors mostly have offensive spells.
    To see a list of all commands type: /class help

    And then for example it have an ability called Bash with description 'Stuns an enemy for 2 seconds. Have 20 seconds cooldown.', min level 3 and 10 max level, then you type /class bash info, it shows:

    Bash
    Stuns an enemy for 2 seconds. Have 20 seconds cooldown.
    Unlocks at level 3, disables at level 10.

    Would be better if the min level and max level of the spells are shown when we type /spelllist so players can see when they will unlock their next ability.

    In case these aren't in the features yet, make it so you receive a message when you level up and when you learn a new spell, along with its description if implemented.

    Example:
    Level up! You are now a level 3 Knight! [the level up message]
    You learned a new spell: Ultra Slash! [the new spell message]
    Ultra Slash deals heavy damage to one enemy. [the spell description message]

    All those suggestions are so players can know more by themselves.

    Also, is it just me or slimes and ghasts cannot be targeted?
    Also how do you check your exp and level?

    Hi, I've been following the progress of the plugin for a while now, and I'm quite happy with what you've done with it, good job!

    I have a few questions:

    1) I saw you added a tame command, does that mean summoned wolves won't be automatically tamed upon summoning anymore? (I have no way to test this right now)

    2) With all the commands and events and stuff, it would be hard to say that the spellmaker lacks possibilities. But still I was wondering, are the "smoke" and "lightningeffect" commands the only visual effects you can get out of bukkit's limitations?

    3) I'm a little bit confused about the way the damagemodify command works. Does "damagemodify, 130" increase damage done by 30%, 130% or does it just multiply it by 130?

    Hey Rixinson:
    1. summon still tames wolves
    2. There are probably more I could add (potion effects, some other particles) but I can't add new ones without using spout (and spout client for the users)
    3.the number in the damagemodify command is a percentage of the base damage, 100% = 1 times base damage -> 130% = 1.3 times base damage.

    2) Oh that's too bad :/ (edit: maybe 1.4 will bring more possiblilities with the modding API, one can only hope :) )
    3) So will "damagemodify, 130" deal the base damage instance+1.3 times the base damage or will it just deal 1.3 times the base damage?

    no 1.3 * basedamage = basedamage + 0.3 * basedamage

    Ok thanks for the precision ;) I was confused because I looked at an example spell in the wiki (link) supposed to boost the damage, and yet the line was "damagemodify, 75"

    Can anyone tell me how to setup races correctly? The wiki is useless when it comes to this.
    I notice the "Permission: ' ' " in the race-folder/config file but whatever I add or change anything in the file it gets erased as soon as I run the server.

    So is it even possible to allow extra permissions for being a race?
    If so, whats the correct syntax for adding permissions in there?

    Other then the jumbled wiki page and this issue with race I love this mod! Having complete control over the class through permissions is awesome! Now i can have way more diverse classes then Heroes ever let me do.

    It's a bug in 0.95, you can download the latest dev build and it will work, the permission is required for players to join the race.

    Ah. Not really sure were i got the idea I could give permissions through race lol but the update works great thanks!

    you have to use the spellmaker with a double click instead of right click -> open with.

    I'm suffering the same error as you get ready?

    but I have a version. jar, and if I give him double-click opens like WinRAR, you have a version. exe to pass me?

    right click -> open with -> java and check the always run with this program box
    then run it.
    close it.
    double click on it.

    --HELP --
    How to disable parts of the plugins and what do you mean by just don't create classes then. Becasue what i want to do is use a mod which has a class system with skills etc. but not like the binding system but with a proper skill bar etc and i dont want all the other crazy amount of commands there are i just want the party and guild and economy part of the plugin.

    Im not specifically directing this at the person who ive quoted anyone who can help me out please reply :)

    I'd like to make a buff that is enabled upon chance. For example: my fighter hits a mob and has a 5% chance to do 125% damage. Is it possible to do this with the spell maker? I seem to be over looking or not quite fully understanding spell maker ^.^' If I can figure out spell maker, I'd love to make a tutorial to help others out who are as dense as me.

    Sorry for another question. The commands for something in a party is affecting my commands for precious stones. Is there a way to change the party commands? I want Party Commands to be enabled for even if the party system is not enabled I cannot use my precious stones commands. All precious stone commands are /ps.
