[Urgent] Server takes 5+ minutes to boot

Once the server actually is on, there is no lag at all. The console doesnt show any errors, so IDk whats happening T.T

EssentialsChat uses c3p0, it causes problems with Factions and some other plugins if I remember correctly. I'd recommend removing EssentialsChat and using something like HeroChat.

Eh, you could check your CPU usage though.

 

Ill help you!, delete your server.log, then start up your server and shut it back down, copy and paste it in to a paste bin the give us the link

It seems that the zAutoMessager takes 3 minutes when enabling (well the timing might be coincidental). Try removing that plugin and see the startup time?

 

Alrighty, since i will be removing this plugin, what auto message/broadcast plugin do you recommend?

 

I mean remove it to see if the startup time decreases. It seems like it can't connect to your internet or its slow and that causes it to delay. Just test to see if that is the cause :/.

There are a lot of announcer/broadcast plugins. The only one I've used out of those 3 is the last one and it works fine, but the fc one has more options.

theres absolutely no error with essentialsprotect (yes, essentialschat doesnt use c3p0, its essentialsprotect that does) with factions and ANY other plugin.

 

Well, it was the auto messanger. Now I want to use essentials and factions, should I expect anything weird?

 

no, because c3p0 has nothing to do with any error, nor essentialschat, and theres no problem with using essentialschat with factions, unless your factions is outdated.

Mr.Minecraft, essentials have tons of good stuff in there, but has some issues. But Factions has been braking things lately.
