hey folks, i need a setrank plugin for 1.3.1 and that works the permissionsEX

I think thats the command to add users to PEX groups.

 

The two that I suggested are different. I was thinking along the lines of SetRankPEX and PEXRank... Did neither of those come up in your search?

 

np98765 ok, SetRankPEX is 1.2.5, not 1.3.1 and i didnt see PEXRank.

when i do that the server restarts, i want to add someone to a rank with out restarting

What's the error? Why doesn't it work with 1.3.1?

Huh, this is embarrassing.... i did yaml parser and it showed errors, but now.. everything is fine....

 

ok, now. for some reason when i add setrankPEX and try to use it, it says there is a error. which i suspected. but when i try to use it in the consol. the server crashes, any idea on how i can use a setrank plugin? and i want the setrank like this: /rank {user} Member. or somthing like it. i dont want sign promotions or any other thing. when i try to use the /pex promoting system, the server crashes awell.

 

/pex user <USER> group set <group> works much better.

try this command isnsted: /pex user <USER> group set <group>
without the <>.

 

That command does a different thing.

 

OK? it sets the group (rank) of the player.

the command changes the group (rank) of the user. do it likes this:
/pex user <USER> group set <RANK> replace the <> with the RANK or USER.

 

SetrankPEX still works 1.3.1, i use it on my server

 

ok great, it still works. doesn't help me. for some reason my server wont work with it. when ever i use it, it says
"An internal error occurred while attempting to preform this command"
any ideas? using consol is out of the question. cus it crashes the server. im using the command as a op.

i going to wait on that. if this setrankPEX doesn't work, im going to do your command idea.

you will have to negate the command setrank.notform

 

sorry for being such a noob but uhh... negate the command? im guessing thats under setrank folder in the server, right eh?

 

When you put the permission in you type - -setrank.notform <----- that is not the exact permission node but its similar

the permission node goes in the permissions file, if you dont have a group with all commands then just put the normal node in

 

i have no clue what your talking about. is this what you mean?

i go into the permissions.yml folder and put this in the permissions.yml folder - -setrank.notform
if this is right, where do i put it? anywhere, at the bottom of the permissions....
