A new CraftBukkit Recommended Build (1.2.5-R4.0) that provides Minecraft 1.2.5 compatibility and fixes issues in CraftBukkit 1.2.5-R3.0 and earlier is now available. As this RB contains a critical dupe exploit fix, upgrading is highly recommended.

Will plugins break with this build?
Provided the developers of the plugins you are using are keeping up with the development of Bukkit, all your plugins should work fine.

    Notes:
This Recommended Build includes an upgrade to the jLine we use in Bukkit. As a result, Windows servers need the Visual C++ 2008 redistributable if you want to be able to see text formatting in your console (or use -nojline to disable jLine if you don't want to).

Unlike a previous Recommended Build (1.2.5-R2.0), this new RB does not need anything special like ANSICON.

    Known Issues:
    • None.
For more detailed information on what is contained in this update, please see the changelog here.

Alright, grab us a schematic and we can look into it. Post it onto a new ticket on the bug tracker (leaky.bukkit.org)

New dupe glitch involving pistons works in latest build, is team aware of this? Don't want to post full steps here.

We have not seen a dupe bug that could be reproduced without plugins, but please submit a private ticket to leaky.bukkit.org with the steps to reproduce this problem. If you can take that a step further and reproduce it without plugins it would help immensely. Please submit the ticket with your plugin list.

This is not new and doesn't actually dupe anything, it makes client side blocks that drop nothing when you break them.

Hi seph. From a non-developer thank you for all the work you're doing. I don't know what I'd do without bukkit good to see you're still active and engaged in making life easier and better for us server owners. :)

I would rather you optimised bucket and made it more stable and quicker before progressing with more developments. More stuff is great, but not if it crashes or hogs server resources.

    Carry on the good work

I'm sorry to inform you, but this version has A HUGE BUG, called MEMORY LEAK.. my server eats up all of my CPU and RAM when server is started. This build is a big fail.

Did you confirm that without plugins? Most memory and CPU issues are plugin caused.

Please post a thread on the Bukkit help forum and we will help you through the issue.
