Lol, In hamachi you need to make a network and then add your friends to your network, then your friends can play.

Then it's probably the wrong choice to host a bukkit server.

    aye!

with this port mapper thing, If I use it, does it mean I don't need to use hamachi anymore? and my friends cann connect to the server withought being connected to my network?

what is a protocall? and would it be a TCP or UDP if it is from hamachi?

Hamachi uses more than one port. 3 of them are TCP one of them is TCP.

And yes, you can get rid of Hamachi then. Just port forward the bukkit(25565) port.

I'm not the developer of that application, you have to ask ImminentFate

In addition: i never used that tool, i just gave you link to it ;)

Perhaps your router isn't UPNP-compatible. That's a requirement for that tool.

I am amazed how people think they could demand free help in this community and then also be upset if they are too stupid to do it by their own.

If you have used an auto installer, we really can't help you, since we do not know what is going on with the auto installer. Considering there is nothing to "install" these are mostly just the lazy man's way of setting up a server.

    Portforwarding
    Windows 7 firewall

If you use the port mapper, do this:
    get rid of hamachi.
In the port mapper, create a new TCP port with number 25565 and name it Minecraft.
Open up your firewall and make sure java is allowed through it. If you can't find it, disable the firewall for the duration you want to run your server.
    Go to http://whatismyip.org
give that IP to any friends who want to connect.
    Start the server.
you log into the server using "localhost"
    Done.

ImminentFate if u port forward localhost doesnt always work he should use his internal ip if it doesnt work
n i dont get why people dont port forward manually i used a software before n it confused the fk out of me its accually simple as shat

it is fairly simple on many routers, but some are quite complex.
And these are the following that are used to connect:
    1. internal ip (192.168.0.x)
    2. 127.0.0.1
    3. localhost
    4. localhost:25565
