    ~Yes I know this has been posted 100 times but none seems to work~

    Hello, so I've been having a connection issue on my Minecraft server. I can connect yet my friends cannot, here is my info:

    Router: Netgear WNR2000v3
    PortForwarded: Name: MC Port: 25565 Internal IP: 192.168.1.150 Type: TCP/UDP
    IPv4: 192.168.1.150 (Static)
    External IP: 208.102.177.180
    I've allowed through my firewall: Minecraft.exe, run.bat, craftbukkit.jar
    Ports through firewall: 25565 Inbound TCP and UDP. 25565 Outbound TCP and UDP
    My server prop:
    #Minecraft server properties
    allow-nether=true
    level-name=world
    enable-query=false
    allow-flight=true
    server-port=25565
    level-type=DEFAULT
    enable-rcon=false
    level-seed=
    server-ip=
    max-build-height=256
    spawn-npcs=true
    white-list=false
    spawn-animals=true
    online-mode=true
    pvp=true
    difficulty=0
    gamemode=0
    max-players=20
    spawn-monsters=true
    generate-structures=true
    view-distance=10
    motd=Welcome
    I give my friends the external IP, they get, "Connection Timed Out".
    CanYouSeeMe.org says port 25565 is closed.
    I can connect via internal ip. (192.168.1.150)

    I used to have a Hamachi server that worked, yet one day it just stopped (I used Bukkit).

    I've tried everything, and anything. I hope you can find the error, because I cannot. Thanks.

    Post your console. Post a screenshot of how you set it up

    I assume you mean port forwarding? [IMG]

    Sorry I suck at portforwarding.

    Me too, anything else you might see like firewall blocking or anything really?

    Hmm. None that I saw. Have you seen numerous tutorials on port-forwarding NetGear routers, to confirm your right? Besides that, I can't figure it out.

    Ok, go to cmd and type
    Code:
    ipconfig
    and make sure your ip is still 192.168.1.150 because it may change every so often

    Yup IPv4 is still 192.168.1.150

    I do have DNS internet that is horrible, only like 0.64 Up Speed but even though it's laggy people should still be able to connect.

    Until they see
    "Took too long to login."

    Nope they're just getting "Failed To Connect". Like I said I used to have a working server but it doesn't any longer, if there is an answer to that.

    In console it shows the persons Ip that has been trying to connect and says, "IP *** has failed to connect". (My friend's)

    Your port is closed. If you opened it through your router your ISP most likely blocks it. Its probably against your internet TOS to host a server. Go over the paperwork for your internet. If it says you can, call your ISP have them unblock the port.

    Turn on firewall logging on your Windows machine, see if the traffic is flowing through that. 9/10 times its your Windows firewall giving you issues.

    Otherwise, its your router, or even possibly your ISP causing you issues.

    Both of you are right, my ISP is blocking the server.

    That is he answer 90% of the time. If you dont have cable or fiber im not sure which pots will be open but i know FIOS does not block the high range ports.

    A great many ISP's do not like people hosting from home because their network is either not setup for it, or they would rather make more money off of you by forcing you into a business plan.
