Can the plugin categories be more strictly moderated ? At the moment people seem to love putting their project in as many categories as they can and it breaks browsing by category.

As an example this http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/getseed/ showed up in the world generators category along with a load of other plugins that are not world generators.

Yes. I will keep a lookout for this.

If you have other projects that violate this, feel free to make me aware of them.

You don't think "wgenutils" fits in wgen? :p

I don't think it adds anything that isn't there already does it ? It's just an API to do some stuff that you have to go to net.minecraft.server for normally ?

Hmmm then wat category do you think it fits into? imo if a plugin creates any form of structure automatically or via command it should be in wgen...

    ;)

It doesn't provide a totally new world which is what I would be looking for when browsing the wgen section. Maybe there should be a new category for plugins that add stuff.

yeah good point...or we could just broaden the wgen definition.

I would define world generation as anything that... well... generates a world..

But not world managers surely ? :?

If it has commands to generate worlds, I would consider it ok for the wgen section. If it's just stuff to "manage" a world and not actually generate anything, then no.

I was about to say shouldn't they be Admin Tools but I just looked to see what the actual name for that category is and turns out there is World Editing and Management ;)

The second plugin in the category does not fit in that category at all either http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/livingbuilding/ :(

EDIT: None of them seem to. This is un-fixable ! *no good laughing emote but imagine I used on here*
