    Multiverse 2 - World Creation/Management/Teleportation & More​

    Description
    Multiverse 2 is a ground up rewrite of the popular Multiverse plugin for CraftBukkit. There are many new features, the biggest one being the much better usability and cleaner code! MV2 has been in the works for over 2 months and given the size of it, the developers are confident that you'll find a small bug or two. Please come into our IRC channel and discuss politely with us and we'll get it resolved quick-fastly!

    Looking for the old version that runs on CraftBukkit 1000? We don't have it anymore :( Here's an archive of the old help post. If you're a new user, we REALLY recommend using Multiverse 2..

    People can't log into my 1060 Bukkit Server!:
    Are you using spout? If so, you need to upgrade it to a dev version or disable it until those guys release a 1060 compatible version.

    How do I know if I'm running CB XXXX or higher?:
    Type /version. The number here is your CB version:
    This server is running Craftbukkit version git-Bukkit-0.0.0-980-g4ed23b1-b1060jnks (MC: 1.7.3)
    Please check that this version is the same as one of those in the title of the post.

    No problem man, that's why us as a minecraft comunity post and solve problems because we love the game, and to take some heat off the developers giving they have usually more then one plugin to attend too.

    OK, I'm trying this plugin for the first time so I could add a Skylands, but now I'm having some issues. Adding Skylands seemed to go OK, but now The End is all screwed up. After loading MV for the first time is screwed around with my existing spawns. The spawn in my main world was perfectly safe, but it moved it underground... which makes no sense at all, but that was easy enough to fix. But it also move the spawn location for The End. Now that spawn platform is way, way, way, far away from the actual word, or at least that's how it looks on Dynmap. I can't even fly there with creative since it appears to be far below and after dropping too far it says I fell out of the world even though I haven't dropped far enough to get there.

    So I then I tried using mvdelete to delete The End and then force the game to generate a new one by going through The End portal again, but the game keep saying it failed to delete the world and asking if it is a default world.

    What do I do here?

    [edit] Got it sort of fixed. I actually was able to get the world. It was just so far away that the perspective on Dynmap made it hard to tell if I was far above or far to the side. Setting a spawn point in The End doesn't move where the End Portal puts you, but once in you can type /mvspawn to get to the correct location.

    when i create a new world, is there a way of disabling mobs for that world without editing the server.properties file?

    Hi,

    Could u fix any "Factions disable" in a world, Because i want to have hunger games on my server, But i can't have it because they can't kill eachother if they are allys with eachother. And then the match will never stop.

    I dont know, but How do I make them have their survival inventory when they are coming back from creative? cus they can go to creative world and take dia blocks, go back to survival and still have it! Please help!

    Ok, I have EveryThing set up for my public server for survival and creative but how do you make it so you cant take items from creative then bring them in survival.

    Would be pretty legit if this mod was compatible with the TreeAssist Plugin. It seems that when I try to chop a tree down ( as it auto chops the tree when you use an axe ), the tree does not go "Timber". There is no problem with the Multiverse, just the TreeAssist.

    Hey i encountered a problem but I'd like to say im not sure if it is this plugin or something else.

    I downloaded Technic Launcher 3 and the server 3.04... works great... (Craftbukkit 1.2.5-R1.3)

    So I finnaly figured out my problem narrowed it down to a conflict I think with this Plugin and IndustrialCraft.
    Whenever I import a new world or even add a world besides the default worlds when using tekkit it makes the textures on industrialcraft stuff screw up. When I go into the config and remove the new world stuff woosh back to normal.

    I have even tried to create a world new and not use old worlds to see if it was an importing problem, however this did not resolve it. Even the plugin like this one called Multiworld has the same issue I have tried both.

    I have no idea how to script or even look for problems so if anyone encountered this and can help or tell me whats going on it would be apprechiated. This didnt happen in older versions of craftbukkit, tekkit , and even multiworld files. (Just started trying multiverse.)

    Edit* Oh i even removed all other plugins to make sure it wasnt conflicting and the texture problem still persist.

    I found others with the same problem seems to be a conflict between IC and Multiverse:

    thats easy just open your multiverse core folder and then your worlds.cfg file ... i recomend http://notepad-plus-plus.org/ for notepad ++ easier to read and edit the difficulty field.

    So I've searched and im confused. I use the command "/mv create test normal" it makes the world fine I can access it and it load my issue is that when I attempt to access the nether through a gate it kicks me back and says "This portal goes nowhere!" I noticed it's not making the other test_nether and test_the_end. I am currently using bukkit b2222 and multiverse 2.4b I think for all 4 of the plugins. Is there a simple option im overlooking or must I make the worlds by hand?

    It is possible to create a portal p1 --> to an another world random location

    same question with the command /mv tp <nameostheworkl> --> random location (i use world border)

    Hi there, i'm sorry if you already talked about this but i couldnt find it anywhere. Would it be possible to be able to teleport from one world to another by only right-clicking a sign and not makeing the whole portal?
    If that is possible within the plugin i woundnt have to re-create my whole spawn.
