Hack clients. Possible to prevent?

Can you somehow prevent users who use hack clients to join my server?
I dont mean "Turn server ONLINE mode", I talk about Nodus Client etc. other hack system clients.
Can you somehow make them disconnect instead of joining ?
Friend just found a DIAMOND DUPING GLITCH with Nodus Client & I don't like the idea that people use clients like that at my server. My server is PVP which means the hacker clients will help a lot, there is this spectate possibility, autojump from block to another block faster instead of space spamming to get up the blocks you can just keep walking and no need to jump.
There is this where you can hit from like 6 blocks away a player and the player who you hit can't hit you back because it's not really possible unless you use Hack client like for example Nodus Client.

So help me bukkit users! Can you prevent players who use Nodus Client etc. Other hack clients to join my server?

 

There is no way. How about you take the time to read a bit first eh?

 

The solution to preventing the usage of these kinds of clients is not one that will involve "detecting" and "preventing" them. The best things you can do are:

1. Run plugins that prevent cheating.
2. Grey/whitelist
3. Custom roll plugins to suit your own needs (for example, build a honeypot or throttling plugin).

Diamond Duping glitch was fixed with Bukkit 1.2.5 RB3.0.

 

no there is another that involves Nodus that is not patched, a friend and I are testing a plugin to prevent it from happening

the hack involves using the free cam mode, a chest, and 2 of the same stack-able item

 

Consider upgrading to a dev build.

 

thought about it, but testing has been showing that the plugin works, so I will stick with that

 

As far as the diamond dupe glitch, on the server i admin for, we made it so a chest cant be destroyed with items inside. Simple fix but removed the bug. Thats assuming you mean the bug where people break a chest with freecam and the contents double.

 

That was fixed a long time ago, before 1.2 even.
