I'm sure its good if you're running on a server mod that is outdated. I like running the latest version.

I'll port it to java later so you can run it on Mac/Linux OS. And TnT, my personal server I run is running latest, I just know a few are running older and this simplifies the entire process of downgrading.

I would have been great like a week ago, but as far as we go on the bukkit forums...I'm sure we're all running the latest version now. I'm sure it'll be helpful for some.

Meh, I still think it'll be helpful right up until the point Notch actually starts working w/ the bukkit dev team.

Wow! Thanks for this! This program removed all the ruckus of searching how to downgrade! Bookmarked!

I see this as a another copy of my tool :( http://digiex.net/minecraft
But, great work! My tool is just based on a bash script but what you have is a program!

Edit. It seems that notch is releasing a new launcher too, so our tools will be useless :(

Dropper signatures for antivirus are very generic. They look for an op code activity that fetches files from a remote location copy them to a system location and run them.

If you are concerned about the code it might be worth decompiling or getting the source and making sure the activity is legit.

Some antivirus software is worse then others on the sensitivity of these actions. Some don't even validate the filesystem destination so they false positive.

It's false positives due to using free, cracked obsfucation tools; I'll gladly send the source code (as sloppy as it is) to a mod if verification is needed.

Why bother obfuscating or packing the compiled code? Most of them are easily bypassed and reversed anyway. Well if you know how. Is the source that bad you are afraid of someone judging you for how it decompiles?

Updated a few versions, made it a lot cleaner and not obfuscated. Enjoy.
