Inactive [INFO] Playtime v0.7 - See how long you and others have been on [1.1-R4]

Playtime - See how long you and others have been on.
Version: v0.7

Playtime simply shows how long you or another player have been online.
Playtime also logs total time played, and can show this as well.

Playtime supports language translation: Simply edit the "lang" file to change anything Playtime says.

Playtime has been translated into German, Danish, Swedish, Dutch, Polish, Spanish, and French:

Playtime supports and is tested with PermissionsEx. Playtime also supports default Bukkit Permissions! (also the first plugin to do so! Not that that matters much.) And will support any permissions plugin that does the same. Playtime also tentatively supports Permissions 2.7.4 and 3.1.x, but is not tested against these.

If you translate this plugin I would be very grateful if you would send me your lang file so that I may share it with others in this post.

Commands:

• /playtime (player) - Provide no player to check yourself, provide one to check that player.
• /totalplaytime (playtime) - Provide no player to check yourself, provide one to check that player.

• playtime.* - Implies all others
• playtime.self - Needed to check one's own playtime
• playtime.other - Needed to check another player's playtime
• playtime.total.* - Implies .total.self and .total.other

Its not working for my users, even though they have the playtime.* permission. I'm using GroupManager.

 

I'm having the same problem as 19jojo93
Every now and then I get several hours added. I assume this is lag related or something? It's still a problem because I can't get a good record of my actual playtime.
Once when I checked, I had 3 days 21 hours playtime. After playing for another 3 hours I had 4 days 14 hours playtime.
When it works, this is a very useful plugin.

 

I'll investigate what is causing the "more time" error.

yeah I noticed it aswel, saddly I haven't found a decent alternative since removing it last week. Right now the only accurate record I have of players total playtime is through logblock now.

no idea when it started to get inaccurate or what might be causing it though.

 

I have one player who first logged in two days ago, and now has a /totalplaytime of over 8 days.

 

This is also happening to me now Nuclear :/
Noticed it a few days ago when a player told me they have been playing for 2 days and it says 11,

What are your plans for this plugin?

Do you plan on keeping this updated?

Beccuase, I have been jumping from plugin to plugin looking for one that can keep players times. But most of the ones Ive used went inactive. Or didn't have what I wanted.

The dev is currently very inactive on both the forums and plugin. I think he stopped updating it

I need something that does this for my server.

It´s working on 1.2.5 but some players played 6 days.... But I have that Plugin only 4 days on my server...

 

That's what we've been saying the entire time. Therefore it's not working properly in 1.2.5.

You should add total playtime for the entire server. Maybe /totalserverplaytime
