    Hello,

I don't understand why <player>.setResourcePack(<url>) don't work... A solution to send a resource pack with an other way ? I looked on ProtocolLib but I don't know if we can send a pack with this way... I am currently using the 1.7.2 R3 of bukkit API.

    Thanks

  2. @julo_ In what way doesn't it work? Bare in mind that people can reject the custom resource pack.

No download UI, just nothing. I have also try to encode my url in RFC 1738, like the bukkit documentation. And I don't use SSL protocol in my url :/

    Some notes on that method:
    1. It is only successful if the player allows it to be, e.g. they must have "allow" or "prompt" set for server resource packs.
    2. It must be a direct-download link

You can try to sent the player the link in chat, and if they click on the link it will open the page. It's not as good as the prompt, but if you're using something like dropbox or any other page oriented download it is the only way it will work.
