Problem/Bug PermissionsEx not working

So basically no matter what I really do to it, it won't work for me. I do have a couple of plugins installed, 10 in total, the only one not working is PermissionsEx, which kinda bothers me, since that was actually one of those I wanted the most to work..

When I do /pl PermissionsEx is on red, which I'm guessing indicates it's not working?
I also tried to disable Essentials to see if something there was blocking it, but that didn't seem to be the case, since it was still like that. I also tried GroupManager which seemed to work, but I want PEX, so..

After thousands of tries, reinstallations, basically doing so many things, all it was.. Was PermissionsEx being too high a version for the current minecraft server.. ^_^
Anyways.. It's fixed..
