i had this problem to try use commands IN GAME


/pex group Newbie rank 1000
/pex group Citizen rank 900
/pex group Trusted rank 800
/pex group Admin rank 700
/pex group Owner rank 600



idk why but for me int only work after i manually set ranks for each group so yea you will need to try it manually too

and this is all your 5 groups with they rank value

 

I think this is a small permissions bug, there have been posts recently how to resolve it but i didn't take much notice as this hasn't happened to me, so i'm not sure how to fix it. Sorry!

Sorry, I might sound like a real douchebag right now, but it sounds you just found out how to do it and want to do it again.. You could also just tell them how to do it themself in the thread and explaining what/why you do that. It might be a lot more helpful.

This is to help people who have wrote their permissions but aren't working for some reason and they need help to fix them, i cannot tell them how to do something if i dont know their situation Sorry if i miss understood you

 

So i got a server with fluctis and i put the file on and it dosent work? i know its not to do with.

I tried the commands and they work ty for that.

 

I use bpermissions but am willing to switch because i have no idea how to use it lol.
But anyway my problem is the heroes plugin. Anyone who isnt opped cant do /hero choose class or /bind (for skills)
I dont feel like opping everyone and because they dont have permissions their class resets everytime they log out .
How do i give them permissions to bind skills and choose classeS?

 

You would give them the correct permission nodes for that.

 

You must insert the permission nodes

• Download PermissionsEX

• Check out the example permissions config

• Insert the required permission nodes for heroes

• Check if it has any errors

I'm new to all this stuff and i need help setting up permissions this is what i have so far

I am not using either of them, I would, but the both give me "not updated" errors. So I use the one that comes with craftbukkit. What I do is run a creative server, where when you join, you must build something worthy then you can get group of "builder" admins are special. I am op, and only me. I would also like a way to, in-game, give someone a permission like /setgroup <playername> <groupname> and that would put them into that group. Please help. I have the plugins:
