Question. If I send a player JSON text, will their client format it correctly (1.7) or is there some packet thing I need to do?
@mythbusterma Um you can do it, however it is done, with 1.7 clients. If you'll recall, the tellraw command was introduced in 1.7.
Writing in raw JSON is pretty annoying at times, and you need to use NMS to send the user the message packet. I suggest you use a lib. Here is a great one http://bukkit.org/threads/lib-fanciful-pleasant-chat-message-formatting.195148/
