    Vanish - Make yourself invisible:
    Version: v1.5.2

    Quick Links:
This plugin is really simple, it turns you invisible, making you hidden from all other players. Even though plugins should compile against only Bukkit, this compiles against CraftBukkit as it uses special commands not exposed in just Bukkit, it really doesn't mean much at this point as everyone is using CraftBukkit, but I'm stating this so people know.

    • /vanish turns you invisible
    • /vanish list shows you who is invisible
    • supports Permissions, these are the permission nodes:
      Code (Text):
      2.    vanish.vanish - for /vanish
      3.    vanish.vanish.list - for /vanish list
      4.    vanish.dont.hide - For players who get to see invisible players

Is there a permissions file, this would be a very nice admin tool for my server?
    Death Slayers likes this.

I haven't implemented anything like that as bukkit isn't finished, when more of the API gets exposed and theres a unified way to handle permissions, I will update the plugin. As you're aware bukkit isn't final yet, so at this point me releasing this is to let server admins know i'm chosing to port my plugins from hey0 to bukkit. I don't expect anyone to actually be using this yet, though it will work as advertised.

Looking forward to your release later...
  5. I've tested it - the command works but havent seen if i am actually invisible yet.

The plugin fails to load while running the latest version of Bukkit. I've fixed the errors regarding Color (which needed changed to ChatColor) and the new plugin constructor, but now I'm getting new errors and I'm at a loss.

While starting up CraftBukkit, everything loads fine. The plugin reports as loading along with the others I have installed, as well. However, when I issue the /vanish command, I get this error in the console:
    Code (Text):
    1. org.bukkit.plugin.SimplePluginManager callEvent
    2. SEVERE: Could not pass event PLAYER_COMMAND to Vanish

Another good plugin update! Score! Thanks much. (I have this folder of plugins called PluginsThatNeedUpdating since they all get botched pretty quickly).

my plugin is open source you're welcome to fork it on github and do what you wish. The original idea wasn't mine, so please don't give me props, I don't really deserve them.

Any chance you can add support for the new Permissions plugin, since GroupUsers is no longer being updated.
  28. Offline

    sure, i can do that
  29. Offline

Awesome. I understand bukkit has started work on permissions, but according to the permissions author it will be very similar to what hes done as hes on the dev team.
