Plugin category: Admin Tools, Chat Related Suggested name: Essentials Mute List What I want: I'd like a plugin that combs through the essentials userdata whenever you type /update mutelist and checks to see if any of the users are muted. Then compiles those users into a list called something like muted-players.txt Ideas for commands: /update mutelist Ideas for permissions: essentials.update.mutelist When I'd like it by: Sooner rather then later preferably. Is this possible? I feel like this would be useful to anyone who runs essentials, and according to MCStats, essentials is used in over 126,000 servers so I feel like this could be used by any server.
I feel like I have a better chance at having this completed by asking here then asking them as they probably get tons of requests.
Then it is an addon, but still, where is the list with muted players? Essentials has I think somewhere near 75 - 100 source files, I don't think that any developer wants to read them all
There is no list. That's the problem. If you want to find out if a user is muted, you have to go to their userdata and open up their file. What I want this plugin to do is check each file to see if it meets the conditions for mute and if it does, create its own list in the server files called muted-players.txt
