So Hey guys , mainly have this problem where my friends can all connect to my minecraft server , but they cannot connect to my bukkit server.
I tried removing all the plugins but that didn't work.
    Please help , thanks.
PS: I got real minecraft but my friends don't , I set it to offline mode though

    Are you running a firewall?

If you are, you might need to set craftbukkit as a trusted program.

Have you port forwarded? See portforward.org for more info on that. Also, offline mode is insecure. I could use a hacked client to pretend to be a user with op status on your server, and get complete control. €15 doesn't hurt.

I bought the real version. Its my friends. Yup I think its my firewall , will try that out thanks.
Edit: My craft bukkit is not found as a program. I downloaded the newb-friendly one. The other installer doesn't work for me.

    what firewall are you using?

Its the java.exe or javaw.exe (whichever you are using to start craftbukkit, but mostlikely the first one) which needs to be set in you firewall as trusted or something like that.

Not being a noob or anything , but since I open Command Prompt while running the server , I set that as a trusted program? CraftBukkit doesn't pop up and is not an .exe file

    Windows firewall
Edit: Im using Hamachi , they can connect to the normal minecraft server I host but not my Bukkit server , which only I can connect to.

Can you connect to your server when you type in localhost?

Can you connect to your server when you type in your IP address?

You can also configure the list of programs in the settings (don't know what its called exactly in english, in german its "Systemsteuerung" :p ) if it doens't give you that popup. Also make sure you set the tick for private AND public access.

Oh.. Hamachi... I recommend Routing your ports correctly in your firewall, and not using hamachi.

Update: I ticked the boxes for all the java but my friends are still having problems joining my server.

Care to elaborate? I can't portforward by the way , I'm using a really annoying ISP thats why I use Hamachi.
What I'm curious to know is why my normal server works while this doesn't.

First of all.. with default windows firewall setting it should ask you when you start the server if you want ppl to be able to access it..

Second. Hamachi is not a solution.. It is a work around... If you know how to rout your ports you should do it this way..

If you do however.. You will need to uninstall Hamachi.. and have all your users do the same..

What Router are you using? Does your router also have a hardware firewall that is turned on?

As to why it works with your normal server and not bukkit I don't know... I don't use hamachi and cant help with its settings.

I'm thinking probably my firewall allows minecraft_server.jar but not CraftBukkit ,which is a Windows Batch File for me. That's just my own theory anyway. Whats bad is I do not know how to solve that.

I would try this.. (This is not a solution).. It is to find out if it is the firewall..

Turn off windows firewall.. And see if you can connect..

Additionally, Can you connect to your own server?

I can. I shall try that and see if my friends can. Thanks.

It works for my friends. Its my firewall.

May I suggest installing a firewall other than windows firewall...

I recommend Comodo Firewall.. It is free to download and use. And it is wonderful.. And I can answer most questions on how to get your bukkit server running through it.
