Error bad login and can't connect to minecraft.net

Hey guys i have recently set up up a new bukkit server on the 1.4.7 R0.
1 beta build and now im having a problem. When i launch minecraft and try to login it says it cannot connect to minecraft.net. When I click play offline and try to join a server its shows the bad login error. It worked fine last night and when I tried to start it up today it was doing this. I put the server itself and offline mode and it worked but for obvious reasons i do not want to keep it that way.

Now I know this error usually happens to people trying to set up a cracked server or pirated the game but i have never done anything as far as pirating when it comes to minecraft and have no intention of setting up a cracked server. If there is anything you need to know lemme know and i will give it too you. Hopefully you guys can help me out! Thanks!

 

Maybe your router or firewall's blocking it. That's oddd.

 

I am having the same problem, I have experience with this sort of thing and when it says that it usually means that there is something wrong with the site. So I went and checked but all seemed to be working... They have now woken up in Sweden so I guess the problem will be solved soon. Trust me when this happens its usually because there is something wrong with the site so if it happens again just leave it...

 

The auth servers have been down for some time, that's the most likely reason
